Mit diesem Gesetz hat die EU keine Chance gegen die USA und China. Während in den anderen großen Wirtschaftsräumen hunderte Milliarden investiert werden, will Europa kein Geld ausgeben.

Die Konservativen haben sich erfolgreich dafür eingesetzt, dass Atomkraft und die fossile Industrie die gleichen Privilegien genießen wie die Produktion von Solarzellen, Wärmepumpen und Windkraftanlagen. Das bedeutet chaotische Orientierungslosigkeit statt strategischer Wettbewerbsfähigkeit.

Der akut bedrohten europäischen Solarindustrie ist damit nicht geholfen, dafür braucht es jetzt akut Notfallmaßnahmen.

With this law, the EU is essentially handing over the reins to the USA and China in the economic race. While they're throwing cash into their key sectors, Europe seems tight-fisted.

The Conservatives have successfully campaigned for nuclear power and the fossil fuel industry to enjoy the same privileges as the production of solar cells, heat pumps and wind turbines. It's a recipe for chaos instead of strategic strength.

This move won't rescue Europe's struggling solar industry. We urgently need to implement emergency measures to get back on course.
